What I did was print out the Windows version of the ini, and instead of 
copying it into the Linux installation, made changes to the Linux 
version leaving the paths alone.
That way I didn't have to worry about the paths.
That was easier for me, plus it meant that a lot of old settings that 
were obsolete were left behind.
