Work on that areas is on the todo list yes :-) Particularly in terms of surgeweb integration which I was kind of waiting on before generally enabling the carddav features.

Anyway, as it stands it is very easy to enable for access by mobile devices etc - although if you do enable this it will be standalone and not using the same contact list as surgeweb.

If you already have caldav installed and working, you just need the \surgemail\phplib\netwin\abk.php to be copied in the \surgemail\scripts directory much like the cal.php and add the two surgemail redirection rules:

       g_url_alias from="/abk" to="/scripts/abk.php" 

g_url_redirect from="/.well-known/carddav" to="/abk"
