Upgrades of php/caldav from the admin interface to latest version will replace these files yes. This is a fairly infrequent operation and you would need to start it manually so you would be aware of it. Surgemail as it stands does not even replace the abk.php file but once I eventually generally enable it it probably will. 3) What about sharing of contacts in CardDAV. How can I define it like in "Calendar, Config, sharing" The current calendar sharing is not a native part of SabeDAV no so I would need to modify the sabredav contacts handling in much the same way as I modified the sabredav caldav handling in order to support this. At this stage it is probably best to just create a special email address which you can add the credentials to both devices. Long term I do see this is probably the way to go yes once integrated with surgeweb. 4) Do you have plans for a Config-Interface like "Calendar, Config" so the user can define contacts and sharing by himself? Probably, with the caveat as above.. For more info see: http://netwinsite.com/surgemail/help/carddav.htm As noted in the documentation above, surgeweb will not share its contacts with carddav at this stage but it should work fine between external devices / carddav clients. Let us know how you go and if that satisfies the demand or not. I do still have plans to integrate this with surgeweb's contacts but have no timeframe on that currently.
