You must click on 'raw email' first and then 'save as' and then specify .eml as the extension, then it should work correctly. If that sequence is failing let us know what browser you are using and we'll try it. We will make this easier in future.. ChrisP. Hi Marijn Just trying to save the file onto the local HDDrive.. As a ref / copy / backup. Yes it is from Surgeweb. Is there a format that will reopen the file in Surgeweb?? Dependent on the suffix windows will choose different programs to open the file. I think .eml will open it in OE etc, and if you change the suffix to .msg outlook will open it. No idea about Libre Office, I have never used it. So what are you actually trying to do with the message file? The Outlooks open it as an email and libre office opens it with all info but not formatted and attachments are as mime. Is there a way to recover the original format as received in Surgeweb??
