I have a serious problem with CalDAV permissions, as follows. We're using iCal/Calender (let's just call it "iCal) on OS X 10.6.8 and 10.8.3.

-HIDDEN@domain creates a calender "user1shared" in his account via iCal

- user1HIDDEN@ shares "user1shared" with user2@domain via the SurgeWeb Calendar -> Configure pane with "read access"

-HIDDEN@domain now sees the calendar "user1shared" in his HIDDEN@domain" account in iCal

- user2@domain DELETES the calendar in iCal (right-click on the calendar sidebar -> Delete)

- BOOM! The calendar is gone, disappears fromHIDDEN@domain's iCal AND ALSO fromHIDDEN@domain‘s iCal. It no longer appears in the SurgeWeb calendar pane, either.

Obviously, this is not what one would expect from "read access".

Is there a setting I can adjust?
