Hi There are no explicit commands to revalidate these no, but in recent versions of surgemail, surgeweb is supposed to do pretty comprehensive validation of any previously saved addressbook data before passing it back to the browser to avoid the issues you are seeing and in most cases will actually correct correct any previous problems without any administrator input. It sounds like some entries which are resulting in javascript syntax errors are still slipping through for you though. Is it many addressbooks that are still causing problems and could you send me (OFFLIST) a few of the user.abk files from from disk and I will have a look at them to see what is going on, return them fixed and make sure the issue in question is avoided in future. You can find the user.abk files using "tellmail pathHIDDEN@omain" subdir mdir. After the upgrade, affected customers still appear to have bad entries. When I click on the Contacts in Webmail it shows an error saying "Your contacts information seems to be faulty, please report this to support to get resolved.". It might take less but just to be safe... :-) Between those builds you won't hit any real problems as far as I can recall. You should then visit the config checker page after upgrading to see if there are any settings you might want to add from the suggested ones. If you are extremely careful by nature, then you might do that a day or two later then if a config setting causes a problem you will know and can quickly undo the problem setting.. ChrisP. Hi there, I am hideously behind in updating my surgemail (if it isn't broke don't fix it). I bit the bullet and have a copy of 6.4a to install but wanted to ask if anyone has done this kind of leap in versions and if so, what gotcha's should I be aware of? Also, what kind of time should I allocate for the upgrade to this project, I have about 10,000 mailboxes (guestimate) on this server? Cheers, Jeff.
