The overall design needs to be simplified and make it extremely user friendly. Like I said what is "under the hood" is very functional but we find almost none of our users will adjust their own spam / friends settings and other things because it confuses them. You really need to dumb the interface down so grandma can use it and it looks inviting.
I have plenty of our customers fed up with Gmail and Yahoo and want to come to us for a webmail based system but feel it is a step backward. Yet I know from my perspective it is just as good behind the curtain.
I'm just saying the webmail is the "Store front" of the product and should be the best looking part of the product.

I think the complaint/request is for more "sizzle" for the eyes. The
"steak" is there, as in lots of meat to eat/use. In today's world, the
end users look for more eye sizzle along with the great functionality.
