If this is the surgemail system and Linux( I assume since you are using cron),  I put a .forward in for the owner of the cronjob in the user's home directory.  What version of Linux and is it running Postfix?

I have a short quickie on how to forward external mail using Postfix to Surgemail using SMTP Auth on port 587.

I'm in the process of debugging a cron job.  Cron will send an output email with results but I don't know how to configure the operating system to call on surgemail for such a task... any ideas?
