g_dns_host - DNS host(s) for MX lookups This setting can normally be left blank as the mail server will find your system DNS settings. However, you can specify one or more DNS servers for the mail server to use instead to lookup names. DNS lookups are cached to disk so SurgeMail will generally continue to work even if your dns server is temporarily unavailable. Test your dns server with this command. If working it should return two ip addresses for that domain. tellmail dns_test "netwinsite.com"
Hello all,I seem to be having strange email issues today. Getting a lot of errors on messages in message que. One error is "open (ip address here) 16s failed Socket Timeout 16 sec”. This is coming up on different outgoing messages with different amounts of time for each.Another error I am seeing is "21s failed A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond. 21 sec”Any ideas as to why I am seeing these errors in my que for outgoing emails? Have 100 emails in outgoing que and rising. Just started this am.Please help. Thanks in advance.Jake SteidlGraphic Connections, Inc
