I know this is a few years after you posted that question, but I've
just been going through my SurgeMail logs after enabling spam support.
I then noticed the exactly same thing as you.

To be more specific, it is found in the send.log output.

Why is Surgemail doing this? Is this some hidden "phoning home" feature?
