they are likely looking into it.
I think that they first try to see if they can reproduce the
reported event on their machines.
If they can, they typically will fix it quickly, but they might have
to do release testing on more than one Operating System.
If not, they will probably ask you for more information.
Also note that "Avast is a third party product manufactured by Alwil
software, and is currently provided free", so there may be more steps
than normal to find a problem resolution.
