i have several user accounts which are set up for forwarding. ie sam@abc.com has all email (after spam checks, etc) forward to samjones@gmail.com or whatever. we do not keep copies of the messages. in the past, several of these accounts have been compromised and have been used by spammers to send crap email. i won't go into how difficult it is trying to convince my customers to use non-trivial passwords and to regularly do malware scans :-( so, is there any way of disabling outbound smtp for those accounts that are forwarded? and still allow the forward? in other words, the account needs to be able to receive emails and forward them, but cannot log in, authenticate and send. david camm advanced web systems keller, tx
