We are on Windows platform - SurgeMail Version 6.9d-23 I noticed today when doing some general maintenance that we had a lot of fragmented files on the C: drive. Some of those files were expire_*.log files. They go all the way back through 2012 3 or 4 files per month (147 files & a total of 6.5 GB). It seems a bit excessive, so I would like to get rid of these or at least trim them down if possible. They appear to be logging something happening in Trash folders. Here are a couple of lines from one of those logs: 10 00:00:12.15 domainname.net f:\surgemail\mbox\ domainname.net/sf/hh/username15/mdir/Trash/u1~2,S(0,5555)[1330453030] Deleted Size 5555 Age 10 days From: <HIDDEN@@ domainname.net> Fld: Trash Subject: Aeries Browser Interface Account Verification (username/iHIDDEN@ domainname 10 00:00:15.31 domainname.com d:\surgemail\mbox\ domainname.com/tb/fg/username/mdir/Trash/u16~2,S(0,41511)[1328758289] Deleted Size 41511 Age 14 days From: LinkedIn Updates <updates@linkedin.com> Fld: Trash Subject: LinkedIn Network Updates, 2/09/2012 What are these files logging, and how can I get rid of them best? Thanks, Brad

I noticed today when doing some general maintenance that we had a lot of fragmented files on the C: drive. Some of those files were expire_*.log files. They go all the way back through 2012 3 or 4 files per month (147 files & a total of 6.5 GB). It seems a bit excessive, so I would like to get rid of these or at least trim them down if possible. They appear to be logging something happening in Trash folders. Here are a couple of lines from one of those logs:

What are these files logging, and how can I get rid of them best?
Thanks,
Brad
