My main question was why was there a warning message saying a lot sent in one day.

Sorry I wasn't clear, my first guess is that you were looking at reports based on the 'return path' not the 'logged in user' so they are counting different things.  But I'm just guessing from what your search appeared to be looking for.

But it may be something else, I am wondering if the auto responder is causing this, but thats a guess, if you want to give me web admin access to take a look I'd be keen to

And see if that shows up anything else. It should be recorded in the 'Received:'.. log entries
