Maybe, those errors don't mean much, they just mean a failed connection, it can even be caused by a non ssl attempt to connect to an ssl port. Sure it's possible it's intentional but 99.9% of the time it's just some random probe / robot completely failing to use the correct protocol. ChrisP.
