I just tested this to be working fine in the latest source code. There was an issue fixed very recently (in version 7.2b-6) wrt attachment filename encoding which had a failure mode much like that: http://netwinsite.com/surgeweb/help/updates.htm Make sure that you are running a 7.2b-6+ build (including surgeweb templates) and it should work fine I believe. Let me know if you are already running a new enough version and I'll chase it further.
