Hi

You can specify the host and port for surgeweb to connect to the imap 
backend using this setting:

 surgeweb_backend_server "127.0.0.1:993"

I'll have a look, if it is sensible I might make it do that 
automatically based on the:
      g_ssl_require_login "*"
setting.
