In case you don't know what this error means(TCP_read_dot_error)...

In SMTP, when sending an email, you are susposed to send <cr>.<cr> to
terminate or end the message that you sent. Surgemail is complaining
that someone is sending an email and not ending the session with a
<cr>.<cr> pattern.

Comcast is good for doing that. They like to send an email and then not
close the TCP connection. Surgemail will eventually give up and close
the connection with a tcp_read_dot_error.. Comcast is so big and busy,
they try to keep the TCP connection open after sending an email so that
they don't have to open it again to send yet another message.

There are other reasons for this to happen, but that is a common cause
and hopefully this helps you understand the message and what to look for.
