We send in periodic reports via e-mail to the receiver and their mail server (Domino) sends us an automatic response letting us know whether the report was successfully received.  We are not receiving these confirmations, we have no idea whether our reports were received or not.  

The sending party has sent us the following message that they receive from their mail server if the message is rejected by our mail server. We receive no indication from our mail server that the mail was rejected. 

"A trailing dot or a space after the fully qualified domain name (FQDN) is interpreted as incorrect syntax, and a 501 error message is generated.

Do you have any ideas of what could be causing this??
