Hi the 7080 is the TCP port surgemail is listening on. Provided you have no other webserver on port 80 you can change g_webmail_port to port 80 (and restart surgemail) and you can use the url without explicit ":7080" As the the surgeweb part. You can add a surgemail.ini setting along these lines to deal with that: g_url_alias from="/" to="/surgeweb" ports="80" Marijn On Thursday 30/06/2011 at 4:28 am, surgemailHIDDEN@etwinsite.com wrote: > I recall that there used to be a place where one could enter what to > append to the incoming webmail request, so it landed right on the > appropriate link. > > I.E.: http://<mailserver location>:7080/ ends up at: > > http://<mailserver location>:7080/surgeweb > > Even a redirect so that people could enter: > > http://<mailserver location>, and not have to put the :7080 on the > end? > > Thanks. > > I recall there was such a place in the older builds. > -- > -- > *Glenn Meadows* > /Mayfield Mastering > 2825 Erica Place > Nashville, TN 37204 > 615-383-3708/ > >
