Why not setup a mirror server, active, and let the two systems mirror (all mail from old will copy/sync to the new server). Netwin allows you a 30 day trial that can be used as the mirror system, then transfer your license to the new box, and turn off mirror. Voila, done. (Set the slave back to master so Dlist will function properly.) -- *Glenn Meadows* /Mayfield Mastering 2825 Erica Place Nashville, TN 37204 615-383-3708/ On 12/1/2011 2:24 PM, Emil Hempel wrote: > Hi, > > I have done it a couple of times on windows, install Surgemail on the > new server, deactivate it on the old, shut it down and overwrite the > new surgemail installation with the old one (it a good idea to delete > the new installation from disk before copying the old in). > > remeber to activate the new server. > > If you use this procedure you must keep drive / folder configuration > (else you will have to edit config files and nwauth db) > > Mvh.
