Hi
In terms of dealing with spam have you read these?
http://netwinsite.com/surgeweb/help/spam_config.htm
http://netwinsite.com/surgeweb/help/spam_q.htm
What is it about using the friends system you do not like to use for your own use and your customers?
The friends system can be configured the same way the spam held folder in terms of holding messages without sending out friends challenges, and has the advantage of avoiding false positives from people you have had previous contact with. If you were to continue to use the spam held folder, in my experience you would frequently and annoyingly have messages caught and marked as spam from people that you have been in email contact with for a long time.
The other advantage that the Surgeweb implementation has is that you only have to look in a single place for "quaranteened" messages, rather than always having to check multiple locations.
Anyway, not as it stands the spam held folder is not available from surgeweb by design. Speak up if you disagree, but most admins who have moved to surgeweb seem to prefer the simplified surgeweb spam handling setup over the webmail setup.

I've searched and not found a satisfactory answer.
I've just updated to a new version of SurgeMail and started to use SurgeWeb instead of the older Webmail. However, I need to be able to view the 'Held' messages folder from Webmail from within SurgeWeb.
Without being able to do this, SurgeWeb is totally useless to me and I'll have to stick to Webmail. All my customers are businesses and it's not appropriate to use the friends features for them. I know you guys don't recommend it (I don't agree with your view) but it's the way my clients deal with spam and it works well for them and me.
There must be a way I can display the held messages in surgeweb?
Thanks.
