As far as I am aware Legal Archive will archive everything.  If you want to do archiving for specific stuff (like certain accounts), then you will want to use the "Misc Archive" function. The advantage of the newer Legal Archive is it encrypts/compresses the data and the search interface is faster since it used indexes. The "Misc Archive" offers more functionality when it comes to only archiving certain emails (such as only outgoing or only incoming, and specific types of emails).
