Ok.  Thanks for your help.  I guess the first message was a little light on details.  This is happening to a message being sent to a local recipient, not outbound email.  I can send to other email addresses in the same domain from the same originating server fine but for some reason not this one.  I believe this is all of the information in the log for this message:
