Hey Guys

 

I was faced with an issue that if I enabled ipv6 (dns was correct) mail was still be returned from gmail and other hosting providers.

After complaints from customers and no response from google, I came up with a solution

 

In Gateways simply direct all mail for the affected domain to the ipv4 address

Example
DOMAIN   TO

gmail.com  74.125.25.27

I have not had that issue with any provider.  I have been dual stacked for about 2 years now.  Below are the headers from a test message I sent to Gmail from my Surgemail account.  As you can see, IPv6 from my workstation to LCR's Surgemail server and IPV6 to Google. 

What error message were you getting on the NDRs?  What about your reverse lookups on the IPv6 address of your mail server?(2607:fcb8:1800:7::3 resolves back to mail3.lcrcomputer.net and I have SPF records)
