Looks like it works to me : 2013-02-03 05:45:50.00 [493326:-1266291856] Sent xxxx noHIDDEN@mail.xxxx.com <xxxx@gmail.com> 11854 <1359888094HIDDEN@2xxxx@xxxx.com> "[xxxx] Delivered to remote host 2607:f8b0:4003:c02::1a - 250 2.0.0 OK 1359888350 m9si13222846obk.30 - gsmtp" Our surge servers have been dual stacked for a long time and we have never had a complaint about delivery to gmail. They will of course use ipv6 as the first option and fall back to ipv4 but a review of the logs show a lot of ipv6 traffic with gmail. We're also noticing a pretty big increase of traffic with verizon ipv6. I'd take a really close look at the surge logs for the failed gmail delivery attempts, they should hold the answer. --Ed On 02/03/2013 03:11 AM, Samantha Scafe wrote: > Frank > > I have been ipv6 enabled for ages. > > This is something that has occurred in the last few days > > Our DNS is working, can dig the response from other sources ok. > > It is only GMAIL we are having this issue with > > Sam > > *From:*Frank Bulk [mailtoHIDDEN@mypremieronline.com] > *Sent:* Sunday, 3 February 2013 2:58 PM > *To:* surgemailHIDDEN@etwinsite.com > *Subject:* Spam:************, RE: [SurgeMail List] RE: Problems of users > emailing mailservers with ipv6 mx records (ie gmail) > > Samantha: > > You enabled IPv6 on your host, but do you have end-to-end IPv6 connectivity? > > Frank > > *From:*Samantha Scafe [mailtoHIDDEN@ha@smellyblackdog.com.au] > *Sent:* Saturday, February 02, 2013 7:35 AM > *To:* surgemailHIDDEN@etwinsite.com <mailto:surgemail-list@netwinsite.com> > *Subject:* [SurgeMail List] RE: Problems of users emailing mailservers > with ipv6 mx records (ie gmail) > > Hey Guys > > I was faced with an issue that if I enabled ipv6 (dns was correct) mail > was still be returned from gmail and other hosting providers. > > After complaints from customers and no response from google, I came up > with a solution > > In Gateways simply direct all mail for the affected domain to the ipv4 > address > > Example > DOMAIN TO > > gmail.com 74.125.25.27 > > Hope this helps others in the same issue > > Kindest Regards > > > Samantha Scafe > > cid:image001HIDDEN@CD755D.799AF860 > > > > ** > > *Sam Scafe *| System Adminstrator / Network Services > *SBDC HQ* | 13 Mahogony Street, Holloways Beach Qld 4878 > > *PEN-DC-1*| Able Street Jamisontown NSW 2750 > *BNE-DC-3* | Brunswick Street, Fortitude Valley Qld 4004 > > Tel: 07 *4242 4724* |Fax: *07 42424747 * |Mobile: *0424 136 364* > > Email: *sHIDDEN@smellyblackdog.com.au > <mailto:sHIDDEN@smellyblackdog.com.au>* | Web: > *www.smellyblackdog.com.au <http://www.smellyblackdog.com.au> > *Amateur Radio:* VK4FQ **|**VK4TTT **| **VK4RCN*** > > ADSL ADSL2+ - MOBILE BROADBAND BUSINESS ETHERNET WEB HOSTING > DOMAIN NAMES REMOTE ADMINISTRATION- CO-LOCATION SERVICES - VOIP** > -- ----------------------------------------------------------- EAS Enterprises LLC World Class Web and Email Hosting Solutions IPv6 ready today for your needs of tomorrow!
