I am new to setting up Blogs in Surge-mail, so I have stumbled a lot today.
I read the User and Administrator manual, and set forth - boldly - knowing that many had already made the journey (bite me, poetic license, i just kicked back watching Star Trek)

Initially, i was un-able to access the test blog using the sub-domain URL (i.e. http://<blogname>.blogs.mail.<domain>.<tld>), but i was able to access it using a nominal folder URL (i.e. http://mail.<domain>.<tld>/blogs/<blogname>)

I then implemented a sub-domain in the DNS for the <domain>.<tld> called BLOGS and created a new Host Record called <blogname>, and pointed this record back to the same IP as the host record for mail.<domain>.<tld>

Now when i attempted to load the blog in a browser, http://<blogname>.blogs.mail.<domain>.<tld>/, it loads the Web Mail Login page for that domain.

If i add the default home page INDEX.HTM in the URL (i.e. http://<blogname>.blogs.mail.<domain>.<tld>/index.htm) the blog loads, and all subsequent actions on that page appear to function normally, until i make a comment. The comment process works, but the return button (View Blog) after you have entered the comment takes you back to the Web-mail Login page.

As the moment i am stuck, and still seeking a reason for this behaviour. Any suggestions would be welcome
