Hi We have multiple clients that use our services for their mail. This is only on SMTP not on incoming. We do not have problems with any clients that do NOT connect through a Telstra service. Connecting using Surgeweb is no problem, but most are using Outlook or the mail on their mobiles. We have double checked the settings, we have made sure that they are asking for authentication, same as incoming, we have tried ports 25, 587, 2525, even added some others to no avail. We try to talk to Telstra and we go round in circles. As a test we had a customer using Telstra Wireless Broadband for his site, since he was away from an Exchange. We switched the Sim card to an Optus Sim, all internal settings stayed the same. SMTP mail.customer.com.au port 587 Requires Auth, same as incoming, same DNS. POP mail.customer.com.au Telstra sim, incoming OK, SMTP Fail. Switched to Optus Sim POP and SMTP both work. ======================== Any ideas please?
