I believe you always could with some lines like this

     g_webmail_port "80"
     g_url_alias from = "/" to = "/surgeweb" ports="80"
     g_url_alias from = "/cal" to = "/scripts/cal.php" ports="80"
     g_url_redirect from="/.well-known/caldav" to="/cal" ports="80"
