Bounces are generated by the destination system, so this isn't controllable, when surgemail does a bounce it should contain the original headers. But if you can give me a sample I can double check. If the problem is the destination systems loosing this, then you are probably best to keep a local index of message-id data for tracking, my guess is that's the most reliable header you should get back...
