The circumstances under which winmail.dat files are sent seem difficult to replicate. Maybe the version of Outlook I�m using with Exchange doesn�t do this as much as older versions. I�m on Outlook 2010 with Exchange 2013. Do you know a way I can reproduce this? I�ve tried changing message to Rich Text and attaching & inserting images into the email.

I had some test messages with winmail.dat attachments already in my test mailbox, but they did not convert after logging out & back in. I then tried fwding some messages with those attachments, and they are still showing winmail.dat as the only attachment. I then restarted Surgemail & checked both of the above methods again, still same results.

Do I need to send a test message directly from an Exchange server to replicate the winmail.dat issue? Or am I missing something else?
