Mirroring doesn't copy ip addreses type settings, so you will need to 
set those correctly on the slave.
This has no affect on weather or not the domain in quesiton is mirrored.

No. When you issue this command on the master
	tellmail resync_config
it will send the ini file and users (if using nwauth)

The untrusted certificate is completely secure, trust is only relevant 
for web based interractions where the user could be connecting to the 
'wrong' host, it doesn't affect the quality of the encryption used 
between the two hosts.
