1) turn on friends 2) upgrade to the latest beta 3) adjust the spam/friends settings. (probably about 10 is what you need for your situation) 4) turn on all recommended config settings 5) complain to me if it doesn't work as desired... :-) (with a couple of examples with headers :-) Friends is a core part of the spam handling and must be used. But it doesn't have to block or challenge anything, that is a choice you make in your friends settings. This choice didn't exist in early versions so some people refuse to turn it on now not realizing it can actually do exactly what was occurring before the upgrade to version 5 ( so essentially you can at worst mimic the old behaviour prior to version 5) So step one, make sure it is turned on, then configure the options so it won't block new potential customers. For that you need a friend setting of about '10', maybe even 11... Place in friends folder if score is above 10 (And challenge) (In my opinion challenge as well, challenging is even more important with a high value rule as your spam filter will contain 99.9% spam so it will be very hard for you to manually spot any false positives, and also with a high value rule like 10 the number of real people falsely challenged will be low so not much offense will occur) The user will certainly still get spam with these settings, but the volume of spam will be relatively low, and they can check the daily spam report to see if any false positives got caught.
