I am running this on OSX ... if these options don't apply to osx... what would be the reccomendation?-------------------------------------------------------------------Group: netwin.surgemailSubject: [SurgeMail List] Re: Mirroring errorDate: Tue, 26 Oct 2010 16:13:38 -0500That could cause problems. Generally it should run as user 'mail' on both systems, but that doesn't really matter. The thing that does matter and is probably the problem is that the root directory path for mail boxes must be owned bythe user surgemail is running as so it can create new directories in there. To control/define what user surgemail runs as you set the ownership on the g_home directory. Then chown mail /usr/local/surgemail chgrp mail /usr/local/surgemail chown -R mail /usr/local/surgemail chown -R mail /MAILBOX/PATHS...Then restart surgemail. (These instructions do not appy to osx!)If that doesn't fix it then we need to look at the errors in pop.log and mail.log on the slave. ChrisP..
