Hello Jordan,
Here is what I think it is happening.
On your Surgemail directory you will find a files called mfilter.rul
This is where you set the rules to avoid SPAM. The line 45 of that file has a rule that is blocking your message to go out. You can either delete the set of rules that is on that line or the content that matches what you have on your outgoing message.
