All of the surgeweb interface should be fully UTF8 based and support the automatic conversion of emails in native character sets to UTF8. There are no known issues along these lines, however you mention the mobile non ajax interfaces, these have had the least attention in terms refinement so it is possible there are still issues to be resolved. If you use the ajax interface everything does show correctly?I'll run some tests but it would make it easier if you passed me some of your few test messages (in raw format from disk eg using surgeweb forward attached, and OFFLIST thanks)RegardsMarijnOn Friday 02/03/2012 at 5:09 am, surgemailHIDDEN@etwinsite.com wrote: We're currently using Surgemail with the old webmail interface. Our domain is mostly used by french speakers so our e-mails contain plenty of accentuated characters. If we use the french demo language, the actual interface is fine, the characters display properly. If e-mails contain special characters in the subject, that's handled correctly too (mostly. I've seen issues but the problems come from the sending client not encoding the subject properly). The problem is the e-mail content. The special characters are not handled properly, though when I view the raw email, the characters display correctly. The issue is present in mobile and non-ajax skins.
