Thanks Lyle The 421 being given by the Yahoo servers is as a result of ongoing 550 errors. On receiving a 550, surgemail retries sending a number of times - only producing more 550 errors - legitimately. This continues until Yahoo servers temporarily deny emails being sent from my server preventing real email being sent. How do I stop surge mail retrying 5xx errors ???
